What did I learn from this course? I have learnt so many new things about computer, however, it gives me the impression that how can I make use of all the knowledge to create learning environment. The big question is clicking in my head and so far I don't really know yet how to use all the technology effectively so that students can have fun with Thai lessons as well as learning something that would be useful for their future as a Thai citizen.
However, I think I should look at the following points:
Substitution: the computer substitutes for another technological tool, without a significant change in the tool's function.
Augmentation: the computer replaces another technological tool, with significant functionality increase.
Modification: the computer allows for the redesign of significant portions of a task to be executed.
Redefinition: the computer allows for the creation of new tasks, inconceivable without the computer.
It seems that I have to clearly see through these points and then start designing my course. There is a debate that should I just try here and there and see the outcome then choose the best methdology for my class. It seems like an exciting experiments.
